The composer, producer, and DJ Karel Havlíček presented the new songs from his upcoming electronic dance-music album at a unique event in Prague, Czech Republic. This latest release offers another genre of music that strongly resonates with the author. The importance of movement reflects the creative process of music writing and the shapes of Frank Gehry's iconic buildings; the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles and the Dancing House in Prague. A single performance in the dome of the Dancing House on Smetana's embankment was recorded on video by Jan Strach in the middle of this year's summer. Karel played his songs live during the evening's magic hour. At the end of his DJ set, he offered his favorite songs played against the backdrop of a sunset over the city of Prague. Karel Havlíček will be releasing an electronic music album next year, and he'll be playing it live with drummer Maurice Salmin throughout many European capitals and Los Angeles. We are launching live sessions at Kabelovna Studios. For the kick-off recording, I picked one of my originals, Above Ground.
